At Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville, you can walk, run, skip or stroll but please no bicycles. Please note that this is a narrow trail that is not closed to the public.

Participants will receive a super cool t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, the ultimate S’Mores Extravaganza and other goodies from our sponsors and vendors.

This is a fun run with an amazing s’mores party at the end.  This event will not be officially timed.

This is a dog friendly event…
Canine participants are welcome and must be well socialized and on a leash. All dog owners are responsible to clean up after their dogs. We will have water for your fur baby but no medals will given to animals.

S’Mores Extravaganza
Join us after the race for the ultimate S’Mores Bar, music and fun.

**These participants will receive a t-shirt, bib and medal. They will not receive a medal without their bib. They will not be timed and will not receive an award.**

Please note – All finishers will receive a medal IF they have a bib. If you do not have your bib on race day, please go to packet pickup prior to the race and let someone know. 

However, you can register during packet pickup or since there is a small processing fee for online registration, participants can save money by printing off a registration form and sending it to us at:

Course/Map Information

The course is a four mile down and back on the Knoxville’s Will Skelton Greenway.  Please stay on the right side of the trail as best as possible. We will have volunteers and arrow signs to better help you.

The Goose Chase has a no refund policy due to the pre-ordering of event shirts, medals, bibs, etc. We understand that emergencies or last minute schedule changes do occur, therefore, to better accommodate you, we have some other options instead.

• You can have someone pick up your packet for you
• You can transfer your entry to someone else
• You can switch to the virtual option and turn in your virtual race time at a later time, and still receive the shirt and medal.
• You can defer to the next year
