Half marathons require a few extra helpful individuals on the course. If you aren’t able to participate in the race, please consider volunteering with us!
The Bluegrass Half Marathon is part of a 3 half marathon series called ‘The Trifecta’. The other half marathons include the Haunted Half Marathon and the Music & Miles Half Marathon. Register for all 3 races to receive this medal. For more information, please email us at info@thegoosechase.org

Medals will be presented to all runners and walkers who complete the race. NO BIB = NO MEDAL. If you have forgotten your bib, please find a member of The Goose Chase near the finish line the morning of the race.
For safety purposes, no dogs or strollers allowed.

We did offer a hand cycle event for several years. However, the participation level declined to only one cyclist per year. The decision was made by several within our organization to discontinue this race option. We support our hand cyclist and wish them the best.
Water & Gatorade will be at the water stations this year. Each exchange area will offer beverages and then there will be additional ones along the course.

REFUND POLICY
The Goose Chase has a no refund policy due to the pre-ordering of event shirts, medals, bibs, etc. We understand that emergencies or last minute schedule changes do occur, therefore, to better accommodate you, we have some other options instead.
- You can transfer your entry to someone else
- You can switch to the virtual option and turn in your virtual race time at a later time, and still receive the shirt and medal.
- You can defer to the next year
If none of these options work for you and a refund is still needed, there will be a $10 service charge through September 1st and we are not responsible for the online registration fee.
