“Steps of the Rebellion” – A Hunger Games-Inspired Walking Challenge

Theme: Based on Sunrise on the Reaping, this 4-week challenge leads participants through the Capitol’s twisted version of justice, rebellion’s first sparks, and District 12’s resilience.

Overview:
Walk your way through a prequel-era Panem, tracking your miles to unlock locations, story elements, and themed digital badges. Each week focuses on a chapter of rebellion, culminating in a symbolic “march to the reaping.”

A 4-Week Walking Challenge Inspired by The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping

Step into the story before the arena.

Join us for a powerful four-week walking challenge inspired by Sunrise on the Reaping, the latest addition to The Hunger Games series. Each week, you’ll track your miles, unlock themed badges, and experience the early days of resistance through movement and motivation.

Choose your own path—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—and walk alongside fellow fans as we journey through the districts, rise with rebellion, and move toward a better future. Whether you walk solo or with a team, every step is part of the revolution.

Weekly Challenge Overview

Week 1: Voices in the District
Start strong. Set your pace and share why you walk.

Week 2: The Reaping Rises
Stay committed. Honor those chosen and walk with purpose.

Week 3: Echoes of Resistance
Build momentum. Invite a friend or walk with a group.

Week 4: Sunrise on the Reaping
Finish powerful. Complete your final miles and share your sunrise.

  2. Steps of the Rebellion short sleeve t-shirt – $35.00 (optional)

What do I receive?

  1. A fun experience and exercise
  2. Weekly door prizes chosen from participants that tag us on social media completing their daily walk or run. #thegoosechase #tricitieswalkingchallenge
  3. Each week upon completion,  you will receive a digital badge with the weekly themes.  This will be sent by text or email.
  4. After completing the four week challenge, you will receive a commemorative pin.
  5. If you do at least 6 of the monthly challenges, you will receive a commemorative medals at the completion of this year’s challenges.

How will I receive my items?

    1. Within 24 hours of you signing up, you will receive a text message welcome from us along with instructions.
    2. If you ordered a shirt, they will be sent to you within two weeks.
    3. Please post photos on your social media using #TheGooseChase or posting in our Facebook Walking Group
    4. If you do win one of our prizes, we will make arrangements with you on pickup or mailing item.
    5. Each week upon completion,  you will receive a digital badge with the weekly themes.  This will be sent by text or email.
    6. After completing the four week challenge, you will receive a commemorative pin.  We will make arrangements with you on pickup or mailing item.
