Come join the fun and be a part of the 5K Glow Run at The Wellness Center in Johnson City on August 9, 2019. This is a great way to celebrate the end of Summer. This 80’s themed event will be equipped with plenty of 80’s style Glow items, DJ and activities at The Wellness Center.
This is a dog friendly event…
Canine participants are welcome and must be well socialized and on a leash. All dog owners are responsible to clean up after their dogs. Plastic bags will be available at check-in.
Thursday, August 8 at The Wellness Center (200 Med Tech Pkwy) 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Friday, August 9 at The Wellness Center (200 Med Tech Pkwy) 5 – 7:30 p.m.
We encourage everyone to pick up packets on Thursday but just in case, you can pick it up prior to the race. However, we will close packet pickup at 7:30 p.m. to prepare for the race.
Take Exit 19 from Interstate 26; traveling west on N. State of Franklin, taking a left at the second traffic light onto Knob Creek Road and then an immediate right onto Med Tech Pkwy.
The Wellness Center, State of Franklin OB/GYN Specialists, Johnson City Internal Medicine, Johnson City Eye Clinic or at Bank of Tennessee (all located on Med Tech Pkwy and within walking distance)
Awards ceremony for overall winners and costume winners will be after the conclusion of the race.
Awards for both men and women include: Top 3 overall, Masters, GrandMasters, Age Groups (9 & Under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Older)
80’s costume awards: Best Male, Best Boy (12 & Younger), Best Female, Best Girl (12 & Younger),and Family/Group
**If you are unable to attend the awards ceremony, the top three individual (overall and age group) may be picked up at The Wellness Center (200 Med Tech Pkwy).

The Wellness Program is a part of Ballad Health team member benefits package. It is designed to help you reach your peak level of health and well-being all while having fun! The program consists of multiple activities, games, and learning resources. The program is voluntary and can help you lead a healthier life.
