Niswonger’s Children Hospital is a place for children to get the help needed to deal with the hardships of life, no matter what the difficulty may be. The hospital is dedicated to make children healthier while also making them feel inclusive. Join us for this 5th annual event featuring a 5k, 1 mile and modified race option. Details below to see which race would better suit your abilities.

Modified race start 1:45 p.m.

5k race start 2:00 p.m.

1 mile fun run 2:10 p.m.

The 5th annual Niswonger Children’s Hospital Scarecrow Skedaddle 5k, 1 mile and Modified race is excited to bring this event back to the running community!

Start times:

Packet Pickup – 11:45- 1:45 p.m.

1:45 p.m. – Modified Race (children with disabilities needing assistance)

2:00 p.m. – 5k Race (3.1 miles)

2:10 p.m. – 1 Mile Race(timed)

Other activities:

We encourage you to dress up and visit the post race Shindig in Founder’s Park.

Cost: $10

Registration must be received by October 11, to guarantee supplies of participation items.

This is a great event that is sure to touch your heart as we partner with Niswonger Children’s Hospital on their Scarecrow Skedaddle. Several volunteers are needed for this event and we would love to see you out there giving back to the community and watching our friends skedaddle to the finish line.
