What is this?

Start 2025 with the gift of movement! Join our January Walking Challenge and kick off the new year with healthy habits, fresh air, and fun. Whether you’re a seasoned walker or just getting started, this challenge is perfect for all fitness levels. Set your own pace, track your steps, and feel the benefits of daily movement—better mood, improved health, and a sense of accomplishment. Invite friends and family to join the fun, and let’s walk our way to a great year ahead!

Registration Fee?

We have three tiers that you can choose from or do all three.

  1. 30 Mile Walking Challenge – Participant will receive mug & hot chocolate – $15.00
  2. 60 Mile Walking Challenge Participant will receive long sleeve tee, mug & hot chocolate $30.00
  3. 90 Mile Walking Challenge – Participant will receive Walk423 beanie, long sleeve tee, mug & hot chocolate $50.00

* If you complete a lower option and decide to keep moving towards another goal, let us know (walktennessee@gmail.com) and we can adjust pricing to reflect the amount you have already paid.

    1. Prizes will be announced and awarded at the completion of the January Challenge the week of February 9th.

How will I receive my items?

      1. We will e-mail you once the items are available for pickup with location.

    1. We will notify you on arrangements through email at the completion of the challenge.
    2. You can achieve a 30, 60, & 90 mile challenge patch

Goal

Our ultimate goal is to get our community moving towards a healthier YOU in 2025.  We have created three different challenges for the month of January  to meet a wide variety of fitness levels.   Participants can do 1 mile a day to achieve the 30 mile challenge or do multiple miles a day to achieve higher mileage or to work with your schedule through the coming days until we reach our deadline of February 7th.

1 mile daily = 30 miles

2 miles a day = 60 miles

3 miles a day = 90 miles

or do multiple miles a day and take a rest day when needed.

*We do plan on having monthly challenges throughout the year.  Our next one will be announced February 1st.

Where or how do I submit my mileage?

Online Method: Run Signup

  1. Log into your RunSignup account
  2. Go to your profile
  3. Click “submit virtual results” on the event

Old School Method: Record your mileage by pen and paper.  Simply log your mileage on our Log Sheet and email it to us. info@thegoosechase.org
